Volunteer at one of our three sites!

Volunteers play a crucial role in the ministry of Baptist Camping Victoria. There are numerous opportunities for you to serve across the organisation; from Hospitality, site maintenance, camp ministry through word, music, and team leading.  BCV operates ministry camps in two key locations: Tynong North- Mill Valley Ranch and Anglesea- Camp Wilkin and Burnside Camp.  You can indicate your area and location of interest in the volunteer application form.

How Do I Apply

  • Step 1

    Complete the application form

    You will need to provide the contact details of two referees, one pastoral and one personal.

  • Step 2

    Complete our online training

    We will contact you with details about Safe Ministry Training, our volunteer code of conduct and BCV Statement of Faith.

  • Step 3

    Complete training and induction

    Annual training events for all volunteers occur throughout the year, whilst pre-camp and pre-work onsite inductions are mandatory prior to commencement of work.

Eligibility to volunteer

  • Age: You must be at least 15 years or older.
  • Current WWCC: All volunteers both over and under 18 years must have a current Working with Children Check and must nominate Baptist Camping Victoria as the organisation with which you volunteer.

Baptist Camping Victoria is committed to the safety of children and vulnerable people. All volunteers must hold a valid WWCC and complete ongoing child safety awareness training to remain an active volunteer with us.
